Dear Hurricanes/Hurricangels,

Welcome aboard the Hurricane Train in 2018 and thank you for registering your child/children at the Hammond Park junior Football Club.

A big warm welcome to all our returning and new players to our club.

This year is a special year for the club, we are celebrating our 10th birthday and the introduction of Auskick 2.0

For your information.

  1. Auskick is played on Sunday mornings, please be at the ground 30 mins prior to start of game.  8.30am for Year 2 and 10.00am for Pre Primary and Year 1, the season kicks off for our players on Sunday the 6th of May.

  2. Generally there is an hour allocated for training and games.

  3. Each team has a team Co-Ordinator (coach) and a team manager, however it is important that parents get involved in the training exercises that take place, particularly in the new Auskick 2.0. A co-ordinator will be a parent from your group and appointed on day 1 of Auskick. Please put your hand up where possible to assist.

  4. We are holding an information and training day in which all team co-ordinators, team managers and as many parents as possible are being invited to attend, a member from the District will be in attendance to take us through the new set up of Auskick 2.0. Without parent knowledge and participation the program will not run to benefit the our little Auskick stars. The players are not required to attend on this day. Please do your utmost to come down to Botany park between 10am and 11am.

  5. Merchandise(training tees, shorts and Socks) will be available through the canteen and also prior to the season. Date to be confirmed.

  6. The Bulldogs of the future game is scheduled for Saturday 19th of  May, between 1pm and 7pm at Fremantle oval, please put this in your diary.

  7. All parents will form part of a team and that team will also be rostered on to assist in the canteen on a roster system, please support your team Co-Ordinator and Team Manager by making some time to cover the roster.

  8. We will attempt to schedule a game under lights on a Friday night also, date to be advised.

  9. We are all volunteers at the club, we welcome any assistance, please feel free to ask any of the committee for guidance or direction. The club will encourage any potential coaches/ team managers or even committee assistance.
